First introduced in 2002 as Tartini Rosin, it was quickly recognized as distinct among rosins by world-renowned string players and string lovers, leading to great demand and worldwide distribution. In 2005, Andrea Bang introduced an upgraded version called "Andrea", which was designed to provide even more sensitive and sophisticated sound enhancement than "Tartini".

Powerful, yet sensitive sound for the soloist. It enables maximized projection and extra clear bow articulation.

Best Rosin i have ever used!

As a professional violinist I have tried many different kinds of rosin. After going through countless brands and formulations, this one seems to make the most clear and resonant tone of any have tried. I even use less of it, so the higher price is well worth it. Highly recommended. ... (See Full Review)

One of the best rosins I have used.

I have been using Andrea Bang Rosins for several years already. It's not the only rosin I use because it depends on the sound quality I want to produce. This gives very good, "articulation." t's still me who has to play and not the rosin. :) It glides easily on the bow. I use Passione gut and Larsen Tzigane. I'm satisfied with Bernardel as well, no complaints. I also like Guillaume and Liebenzeller gold I and Silver I. They are among the best rosins I should say, not only Andrea Bang's violin solo. However, I prefer the Orchestra version of the rosin. It produces a more mellow tone. Although this one is great for solo playing, or string quartets. It's the perfect rosin to use for new bows. They can last you 2 to 3 years, depending on use. ... (See Full Review)
