After a childhood full of music and an academic degree in forestry (Freiburg, Umea, Gottingen), Armin Seebass found his true calling by combining his interests in timber and tones and attended the Newark Violin Making School in England. After further study in England, Germany and Belgium, Seebass gained profound insight into Europe's three most important bow-making schools. Among his most influential teachers were Derek Wilson and Robert Pierce, Peter Benedek and Silvio Bendik as well as Pierre Guillaume abd Blaise Emmelin. Since 2003, Armin Seebass has lived and worked in northern Finland. The stunning workmanship and bold, imaginative style make these bows ideal for discerning collectors... the graceful control, masterful command, and vibrant quality of the pernambuco make them ideal for the most selective musicians.
